Morningside Gallery Edinburgh

Morningside Gallery is situated at the junction of Church Hill Place and Morningside Road, 50 metres south of The Church Hill Theatre. They showcase original paintings and limited editions by some of Scotland's best known painters alongside the work of promising young Scottish artists.

Morningside Gallery kindly agreed to let us create shoogles from their artwork. We focused on creating 360 degree views of the sculptures, so that browsers of the website would be able to examine the entire artwork without needing to physically hold it. The sculptures, with their all-round detail, work particularly well to illustrate how much more effective shoogles are than ordinary images, and how even a simple level of interaction adds a surprising amount to viewing objects online.
